In September 2018 I completed a two week placement at a marketing agency called ThinkBDA and it was a very valuable experience as I was able to see how things are run in the Design industry. It was a fast paced, exciting environment to be in and during the two weeks I completed a series of short briefs. Some of the jobs I completed included : Photo editing, typographic amendments, designing for an upcoming campaign, re-designing a DM letter, designing the graphics for a blog post thumbnail and producing mood-boards for new and current projects. I have shown the best ones below.

Ideas for Careway's Autumn Campaign
Careway is a service that offers delivery and support to pharmacies, the task in hand was to create a few visual ideas for their autumn campaign using the products that they are going to be selling. I went for a few basic shapes that I felt best represented autumn. Additionally I selected autumnal colours and incorporated their logo.
Re-designing BDA's DM letter
BDA had a short Direct message letter they wanted to send round to their clients informing them their rounds of amends are increasing from 2 to 3. They wanted to send something that was eye catching and impactful so that their clients would take the time to read it. Therefore my idea was to design a trifold letter that opens up into 3 sections. Following this theme of the number 3, I included a well known saying on the front. The idea is the when the client opens up this letter they will be intrigued as to what it's about, where they will turn it over finding the main information.
Blog Post Thumbnails
I was tasked with producing some thumbnail designs for the agencies different blog posts. I used visuals that were appropriate for the blog subject, incorporated BDA's brand colours and added the title using their typeface. These images were used on social media to advertise and introduce the blog posts.
