For this brief I was asked to design and screen print a B2 type specimen poster that captures and communicates the spirit and character of a chosen typeface. My chosen typeface was Euclid Flex by Swiss Typefaces. The name Euclid derives from the Greek mathematician Euclid of Alexandria who is historically connected with geometry, a key visual aspect to this typeface and so I decided to use diagrams of Euclid's to inspire the geometric, mathematical layouts. “Euclid Flex is definitively a typeface inspired by the irreverent youth of our time." Therefore I used florescent contrasting colours to show Euclid's youthful characteristics.

Below I have shown a couple of photographs of the screen printing process.
